CAMPAIGN
1 in 5 adults in New York City are diagnosed with anxiety or depression.
Research shows that embracing your inner child can ease stress and anxiety. Ben & Jerry’s used this insight to fuel their “What Are You, A Child?” campaign, giving adults a way to reconnect with their child-like sense of play.

There’s no denying that life as an adult can be pretty stressful sometimes, especially in New York City.
Studies show that accessing one’s child-like sense of self can help reduce feelings of anxiety and depression.
Ben & Jerry’s invites New Yorkers to get silly and relive childhood moments with fun products and activities designed for adults.
Take a moment out of your day to enjoy not only your favorite B&J flavor, but have fun doing it. Exclusively at New York grocery locations, coloring pints encourages adults to express creativity by personalizing their own pint.

Scoop Your Inner Child NYC Commute Takeover
We targeted places New Yorkers are very familiar with — the subway, Wall Street, and Central Park—and turned them into playful, nostalgic recess games like monkey bars and hopscotch. The idea was simple: make life a little more playful, reduce stress, and remind everyone to let their inner child feel happy again.
